At K. Frankel Medical Visuals, we aim to create visually appealing designs to inform, inspire, and educate a lay audience about a number of different topics within the healthcare industry.

The Process

Consultation

Initial meeting with client to understand the project topic.

Research

Before starting sketches, research of the given topic is done to ensure accuracy.

Sketch Proposal

Ideas for project layout are proposed to client. This can be done through sketches or storyboards.

Final Sketches

A more refined sketch or storyboard is presented to client and checked for accuracy.

Final Render of Artwork

A final render of the artwork is completed with a specific media and delivered to client.

Illustration

Medical Legal

Visuals depicted to support a medical testimony. These may be depicted through posters, illustrations, animations or other form of presentation that can aid in explaining medical terminology of a site of injury to a jury.

Surgical

A series of illustrations explaining the key steps and techniques of a specific surgical procedure. They help focus on the important anatomical structures in a way that a photograph cannot capture.

Anatomical

Subjects include clear, accurate representations of pathologies, anomalies and normal anatomy. They are commonly seen in medical textbooks and significantly help in learning anatomy.

Infographics

Appealing illustrations that help explain information, data, and knowledge on a particular subject in a clear and engaging way. The use of diagrams and multiple images seen along with the written information helps viewers improve cognition of that topic.

Medical Device

Illustration of medical devices that are commonly used by surgeons and other medical experts. These illustrations can emphasize the important parts of the device to help the viewer have a better explanation of how the device works.

Patient Education

Images used to educate audience on a specific medical condition, treatment, and prevention. Design and text are customized to a specific audience, usually for patient and family.

Editorial

Eye catching illustrations usually seen on journal or magazine covers used to draw in the viewer. They are most commonly used to engage the viewer to quickly capture an idea or emotion about a given topic.

Graphic Design

Website design, logo design, or business stationary packages. These designs help communicate information in a more memorable way

Animation

Images associated with narration that explains how the final animation will be rendered.
